Refund Policy
Not for you? Get your money back.
PC Tether is a one-time purchase, and we want you to feel great about it. If the "Anywhere" unlock isn't right for you, you can get a full refund within 14 days — no hoops, no interrogation.
1. Our 14-day promise
If you purchase the one-time "Anywhere" unlock and decide within 14 days that it's not for you, we'll give you a full refund — no questions asked. You don't have to explain why. We'd love your feedback so we can improve, but it's never a condition of getting your money back.
PC Tether at home is free, so there's never anything to pay — or refund — for using it on your own network.
2. How to request a refund
It's simple. Do either of these:
- Email us at support@pctether.com with the email address you used at checkout, or your Paddle order or receipt number. That's all we need to find your purchase.
- Or contact Paddle directly using the receipt email you received after your purchase — since Paddle processed the sale, they can action the refund too.
We aim to reply and approve eligible refunds quickly — usually within a couple of business days.
3. How the money comes back
Refunds are issued through Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record, back to your original payment method. Once approved, it typically takes a few business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider. When a purchase is refunded, the "Anywhere" unlock is deactivated — PC Tether stays free to use on your own network.
4. What's not refundable
We keep this short and fair. The 14-day promise covers ordinary purchases of the "Anywhere" unlock. We may decline a refund only in clear-cut cases such as:
- Requests made well after the 14-day window (though you're always welcome to reach out — see below);
- Abuse of the policy, such as repeatedly buying and refunding, or fraudulent chargebacks; or
- Purchases that violate our Terms of Use.
Past 14 days? Still email us. We're a small, reasonable team — if something went wrong, we'll do our best to make it right.
5. Your legal rights come first
This policy is offered in addition to any rights you already have under the consumer laws of your country. For example, buyers in the EU and UK generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Nothing in this policy takes away or shortens those rights — where the law gives you more, the law wins.
6. Paddle handles the transaction
Because Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase, refunds are subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms as well as this policy. If there's ever a difference on the payment side (like how or when the money is returned), Paddle's process applies to that part — but our 14-day promise is what we stand behind.
